On 11th of October 2019, a “Science fair” afternoon was organized for the students of the International School of Billund in Denmark by the PAM² ESRs in the framework of PAM² outreach activities. More than 70 children between the ages of 10 to 15 were introduced to the world of Additive Manufacturing, PAM², Being a scientist and scientific method. Furthermore, the children received an opportunity to learn more specifically about four AM techniques including Selecting Laser Sintering, Selective Laser Melting, Material Jetting and Fused Deposition Modelling.

The PAM² ESRs succeeded to conduct a very interactive outreach activity using various kinds of learning materials such as real AM parts, videos, posters and powerpoint presentations. And finally the afternoon ended with a challenging but fun quiz game.
